Questions from students and parents

In the Questions tab you read and answer messages from parents and students, and can start a message to parents yourself.

Updated: June 25, 2026

In the Questions tab, communication with parents and students takes place. You read incoming questions, answer them, close a handled question, and can start a new message to one or more parents yourself — with attachments if needed.

Where to find it

Tap the Questions tab at the bottom.

Answering a question

  1. Tap a question in the list to open and read it.
  2. Type your answer and send it. The question then shows "awaiting parent".
  3. If everything is handled, tap Close to close the question.
  4. Filter the list by status (for example open or closed) to stay on top of things.

Starting a message yourself

  1. Tap New message (or the plus button).
  2. Choose the class and select the parent(s) you're messaging.
  3. Give a title and your message, and optionally add an attachment.
  4. Send the message.

Tips

  • Keep your answers clear and friendly — parents see them straight away in their app.
  • Only close a question once the parent is really helped; after that it leaves your open list.
  • Use the status filter to quickly find outstanding questions.

Frequently asked questions

Does the parent get a notification of my answer? Yes, the parent sees your reply in the app and can write back.

Can I reach several parents at once? Yes, in a new message you select several parents within the chosen class.

Troubleshooting

  • I can't send a message. Fill in a title and message and select at least one parent and a class.
  • My attachment won't upload. Check your internet connection and the file size.
  • I don't see this tab. The questions part is off for your organization, or it isn't assigned to you.
