With the memorization (ezber) section you follow how far each student is with learning surahs, prayers and other items by heart. Per item you set the status, so your students and parents can follow the progress.
Where to find it
Open a student's detail (via the Students shortcut on your Home screen) and go to the ezber / memorization section. Some organizations have a separate overview per class for this.
Updating the status
- Choose the class and the student.
- Optionally filter by category (for example surahs, prayers or other).
- Set the status per item: not started, in progress or memorized.
- The progress is saved straight away and is visible to the student and parent.
Tips
- Update the status right after the recitation — then the overview is always correct.
- Use the category filter to quickly find the right item in a long list.
- If the AI assistant is on, the memorization coach can suggest a next item and repeat moments. See the AI article.
Frequently asked questions
Do the student and parent see the progress? Yes. The student and parent see the same memorization status in their own app.
Can I add items? The list of items is managed centrally; you track the status per student. If an item is missing, ask your administrator.
Troubleshooting
- I see no items. The memorization list may not be set up for your organization yet — ask your administrator.
- The status isn't saved. Check your internet connection and try again.
- I don't see this section. Memorization is off for your organization, or it isn't assigned to you.
