In the News tab you stay up to date with your organization. Announcements and newsletters appear here. You can open a message to read it in full, like it, comment on it and save it as a favourite.
Where to find it
Tap the News tab at the bottom. At the top you switch between Announcements and Newsletters.
How to use it
- Tap a message to read it in full, including any images or attachments.
- Tap the heart to like, or the star icon to save the message as a favourite.
- Leave a comment if commenting is allowed.
- Switch at the top between Announcements and Newsletters.
Tips
- Save important messages as favourites so you find them quickly later.
- When you open an announcement, it's counted as read — handy for the sender.
Frequently asked questions
Can I post an announcement myself? No. Announcements and newsletters are posted by your organization; you read and respond.
Do I get a notification for a new message? Yes, a new announcement can show a notification on your phone; tapping it opens the message.
Troubleshooting
- I see no messages. There may be no announcements for your classes yet — pull the screen down to refresh.
- Liking or commenting fails. Check your internet connection; commenting may be disabled for that message.
- I don't see this tab. The news part is off for your organization.
