With Communication you hold conversations with your child's teachers or with the board. Teachers and the board can also start a conversation with you.
Where to find it
The Messages tab → Questions, or Search → Community → Communication. On Home, Message under Teachers & Class opens a message to that teacher directly.

Parents, if the organisation uses Communication.
Step by step: asking a question
- Tap Ask a question and choose the child.
- Choose the recipient: All teachers, Choose manually (one or more teachers) or the board (to Admin Only). If no teacher is linked yet, your question goes to the board.
- If you want the other parent to read along, turn on Include linked accounts.
- Enter a Question title and your message. Use the paperclip to add up to 10 attachments.
- Tap Send.
Step by step: following a conversation
- Tap a conversation. Use Reply to respond.
- Below your message you see whether it was delivered and read. You can like a message.
- Delete message removes your own message; a whole conversation can only be deleted while it has no reply yet.
- Add linked account adds the other parent later. Also in this conversation shows who else reads along.
- Once your question is answered, tap Close.
Filter with All, Open and Closed. Statuses: New, In Progress, Awaiting Parent, Awaiting Teacher, Answered, Closed. A conversation started by the board is labelled "Board · name".
I can't see it / it doesn't work
- I only see News under Messages. The organisation does not use Communication.
- I cannot delete a conversation. It has already been answered; delete only your own message instead.
Frequently asked questions
Do other parents see my question? No. Only the recipients and the linked accounts you include. Note: a class message from the teacher is one shared conversation. If you reply to it, all recipients of that message and the teachers of that class see your reply.
Where is the Questions tab? It is now under Messages, as the Questions segment.
