The organisation shares news through announcements and newsletters. You read them in the app; the newest announcement is also shown as a line on Home.
Where to find it
The Messages tab → News, or Search → Community → News. At the top you choose Announcements or Newsletters.
Who can do this
All parents. You only see what is meant for you or your child (for example for your child's class).
Step by step: reading news
- Open Messages → News and choose Announcements or Newsletters.
- Tap an item to read it in full.
- Under an announcement you can like, post a comment and vote in a poll.
- Tap the star to keep an item in your favourites.
- Use the search field to find an item again. Turn on Archive to also see older, archived items.
I can't see it / it doesn't work
- An item I saw earlier is gone. It has been archived; turn on Archive.
- I get no notification for news. Check Push Notifications in your profile and the notifications in your phone's settings.
Frequently asked questions
Can I ask the organisation a question on an announcement? A comment is visible to others. For a personal question use Messages → Questions.
Where is the News tab? News is no longer a tab of its own; it is under Messages.
