As a parent you follow your own child or children in the app. Who is linked to your account is set by the organization (the school, association or centre). If several children are enrolled, you see them all and switch between them with a single tap. Almost every screen — homework, absences, dossier, questions — shows the data of the child currently selected.
Where to find it
Open the app → Home tab at the bottom. At the top is a card with your selected child. If you have more than one child, it shows a Switch child button.
Step by step: switching between children
- Open the Home tab at the bottom.
- At the top, on your child's card, tap Switch child (only shown when you have several children).
- Pick the child you want to view from the list.
- The app remembers your choice: when you then open homework, absences or the dossier, you immediately see that child.
Switching inside a screen
The Homework, Absences, Dossier and Questions tabs also have a picker or a row of your children at the top. Tap another child there to switch within that screen, without going back to Home first.
Tips
- Always check at the top which child is selected before you report something or ask a question — that way it reaches the right child.
- If you only have one child, you won't see a switch button; that is normal.
Frequently asked questions
My child is missing from the list. Then that child isn't linked to your account yet. Contact the organization so they can create the link.
Can both parents follow the same child? Yes. Several parents or guardians can be linked to the same child and have the same options in the app.
Does switching also change what the other parent sees? No. Your choice only applies to your own phone.
Troubleshooting
- I see no child at all. There may be no child linked to your account yet. The organization arranges that; contact them.
- I don't see the "Switch child" button. It only appears when more than one child is linked to your account.
- I'm seeing the wrong child's data. Check at the top of the screen which child is selected and switch if needed.
