Payments and contribution

View your outstanding and paid amounts, pay the contribution or parental fee and handle payment requests.

Updated: June 25, 2026

The Payments tab shows what you owe for your child(ren) and what you've already paid: the contribution or parental fee, any instalments and one-off payment requests (for example for an outing or activity). Paying is done securely in the app via a secured payment page.

Where to find it

Open the app → Payments tab at the bottom.

What you see

  • Outstanding — amounts still to be paid.
  • Paid — what you've already settled this year, including instalment payments.
  • Payment requests — one-off requests from the organization for a specific amount.
  • Archive per year — an overview of earlier years, expandable per year.

Step by step: paying an amount

  1. Open the Payments tab.
  2. Tap the outstanding amount or payment request you want to settle.
  3. Check the amount and the description.
  4. Tap Pay; a secured payment page opens in the app.
  5. Complete the payment with the offered method (for example iDEAL, card or direct debit).
  6. After completing, you return to the app and the amount updates to paid.

Tips

  • If you have several children, check that the amount belongs to the right child.
  • Don't see a payment as "paid" right away? Pull the list down to refresh — confirmation can take a moment.
  • Keep the confirmation you receive by email as proof of payment.

Frequently asked questions

Which payment methods can I use? That depends on what the organization has set up; the available options appear on the payment page.

I have a direct debit — do I still need to pay manually? No, with a recurring direct debit the amount is collected automatically. The overview then shows the instalments.

Can I pay in instalments? If the organization has set up instalments, you'll see them in the overview; payment then happens per instalment.

My payment seems to have failed but the money was debited. Wait a moment and refresh; processing can take a little while. If it stays unclear, contact the organization.

Troubleshooting

  • I don't see the Payments tab. Your organization may not use the payments module, or no amounts have been set up for you.
  • The payment page won't open. Check your internet connection and try again; if needed close the app and reopen it.
  • An amount still shows as outstanding after paying. Pull the list down to refresh. If it stays outstanding, contact the organization.
