One-time payments (via Stripe)

You ask a target group for a one-time payment, for example a school trip. Members pay through Stripe; per recipient you see who has paid and whether the reminder was read.

Updated: October 7, 2026

A one-time payment is a single payment request to a group (for example an outing or a book package). Recipients pay through Stripe. It is different from the Payment Requests page, which works with Tikkie, ING, Rabobank or iDEAL links.

Where to find it

Sidebar → Finance → Finance → Subscriptions → Manage → One-time payments. Permission Manage billing; Stripe must be connected.

Step by step: create a one-time payment

  1. Click Create One-Time Payment.
  2. Enter a title, description, amount and optionally a Due Date.
  3. Choose the Target Audience: all users, a user type (for example all parents or members) or specific users.
  4. Save. Everyone in the target group sees the payment in the app and can pay.

Step by step: follow up and remind

  1. Open the payment. At the top: Target group, Paid, Open, Overdue. Filter on All, Open, Overdue, Processing or Paid.
  2. Per recipient you see the status and the reminder: in-app read or unread, email opened (measured by a click on the payment link, no tracking pixel) and push delivered.
  3. Tick recipients or choose Select all outstanding and click Remind.
  4. Received cash or by bank? Click Cash or Record payment for that recipient. A manual booking can be undone with Undo; a Stripe payment cannot (refund it instead).

I can't see it / it doesn't work

  • A member shows "Processing". A SEPA payment is on its way; no reminder is sent then.
  • "Not sent" after reminding. The maximum number of reminders was reached or the member has paid meanwhile.
  • A payment without a due date never becomes overdue. That is correct; set a due date if you want overdue reminders.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I see one-time payments per member? In the member's panel, One-time tab, and in the Attention lens under "Overdue one-time".

When do I use Payment Requests instead? When you want to work without Stripe, with a Tikkie or bank link that you share yourself.
