On Educational materials you manage your organization's learning materials. The page is split into tabs: Educational materials (documents, apps, videos and books), Ezber categories and Ezber items (memorisation content) and Homework templates for teachers.
Where to find it
Sidebar → Education → Educational materials.
Types of material
Within the materials tab you switch between four types:
- Documents — PDFs, worksheets and other files.
- Applications — apps or links to learning tools.
- Videos — linked via a YouTube URL or video ID (you don't upload the video itself, you point to it).
- Books — books or bundles.
Step by step: adding new material
- First pick the right type (document, application, video or book).
- Click the add button and give the material a title and description (the title is required; multilingual titles are possible, with Turkish as the default language).
- For a document/book: upload a file. For a video: paste the YouTube URL or video ID.
- Save — the material appears immediately under the chosen type.
- Optionally: go to Teacher and class management, open a class and link the material to a lesson week.
Managing material
- Edit — change the title, description or file.
- Delete — with confirmation.
- Use the filters/categories to keep large collections tidy.
The other tabs
- Ezber categories — the categories that organise memorisation content (for example texts to be learned).
- Ezber items — the individual pieces of content that students memorise.
- Homework templates — ready-made assignments that teachers can reuse.
Tips
- Always host long videos externally (YouTube) and link via a URL — that is faster and saves storage.
- A file has an upload limit (around 50 MB per file); host larger videos via an external link.
- There is no built-in version history: upload a newer version with a recognisable title and delete the old one once you're sure.
Frequently asked questions
Which file types can I upload? Common documents (such as PDF) and images are supported; for video you use a YouTube link instead of an upload.
Do teachers see this material? Teachers see linked material in their class view (read-only), not this management page.
What is "ezber"? Memorisation content: texts or pieces students learn by heart. You organise them into categories and items.
Troubleshooting
- I don't see the page or get "feature not enabled". The Educational materials module is off for your organization. Ask your lead administrator to enable it.
- I can't open the page. You lack the Manage groups permission. A lead administrator can grant you this right.
- My upload fails. Check that the file isn't too large and that the file type is supported; otherwise try a smaller file or an external link.
- The material doesn't appear in a class. The link happens on the class detail page under Teacher and class management, not on this page.
