Teacher and class management is where your education structure comes together: teachers, groups/classes, the lesson schedule, the academic year and — for those who use it — an org chart. From a single page you link teachers to groups, view the student list per group and plan lessons.

The views (tabs)
- Overview — key figures and the list of groups, with quick actions per group.
- Clustered — groups clustered by organization part.
- Teachers — your teachers and which groups they are linked to.
- Schedules — the lessons and the weekly schedule.
- Org chart — a visual structure of your organization.
Key buttons and icons
- Plus icon — add a teacher or group.
- Pencil icon — edit a teacher or group.
- Eye icon — open the full student list of a group.
- Trash icon — delete with confirmation (shows any dependencies).
Step by step: create and staff a group
- Pick the right academic year at the top — it determines which school year the group falls under.
- Click the Plus icon to create a new group; give it a name and optionally a room and organization part.
- Link one or more teachers to the group (you can add or unlink at any time).
- Open the Schedules tab and plan the lessons for the week.
- Use the eye icon to check which students are in the group.
Searching and filtering
Use the search box (teacher or group name) and the academic year selector to quickly find the right year and group.
Tips
- Always set the academic year first before creating groups — otherwise they land in the wrong school year.
- A teacher can be linked to several groups; unlinking does not delete the account.
- Only delete a group once the confirmation dialog shows that no important links are lost.
Frequently asked questions
How do students end up in a group? Students are linked to a group during enrolment/management; in this view you see the list via the eye icon.
What is an organization part? A subdivision within your organization (for example a department or location) under which you can cluster groups.
Do I manage learning materials here too? You create the material itself under Educational materials; linking it to a lesson week is done from the class detail view.
Troubleshooting
- I don't see this page. The Teachers feature is off for your organization, or you lack the Manage teachers permission. Ask your lead administrator to enable the module or grant the permission.
- I get a warning that the page isn't accessible. Platform administrators (super admins) have no access here — class management belongs to the organization. Sign in as an organization administrator.
- A group doesn't appear. Check that you have the right academic year selected and that the status filter isn't hiding the group.
