In the Calendar tab you'll find your organization's events and activities. You can indicate whether you'll attend, view details and add an activity to your phone's calendar.
Where to find it
Open the app → Calendar tab at the bottom. Tap at the top to switch between the month view (calendar) and a list view of upcoming activities.
Viewing an event — step by step
- Go to the Calendar tab.
- In the calendar, tap a day with a dot, or pick an activity from the list.
- Tap the event to open its details: time, location, description and any attachments.
Indicating whether you'll attend
- Open an event.
- Tap Attending or Not attending.
- Your choice is saved; you can also see how many people are attending. You can change your choice later at any time.
Adding it to your phone calendar
On an event's detail page you can add it to your phone's calendar, so you get a reminder. The app asks once for permission to access your calendar.
Reacting and voting
If enabled, you can like an event, post a comment or take part in a poll.
Tips
- Switch to the list view for a quick overview of what's coming up.
- Indicate in time whether you'll attend — that helps your organization know how many to expect.
- Pull down to refresh if a new event hasn't appeared yet.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to pay for an event? In the app you only indicate whether you'll attend; you don't pay directly here. If your organization asks for a contribution, they'll tell you how to pay it.
Can I undo my "Attending"? Yes. Open the event again and choose Not attending.
Which events do I see? You see the activities your organization shares with members. Internal, admin-only items don't appear in your calendar.
Troubleshooting
- I don't see a Calendar tab. Your organization hasn't enabled the calendar/events. Ask them whether it will become available.
- Adding to my phone calendar fails. Grant the app calendar permission in your phone's settings and try again.
- An event is missing. Pull down to refresh; it may have just been added or may already be over.
