The Event Calendar shows your organisation's events, including recurring ones (for example weekly) and events from the umbrella organisation.
Where to find it
The second tab at the bottom: Event Calendar. Switch between the calendar and List. Also through Search → Community.
Who can do this
Members, if the organisation uses events. If not, that spot shows Donations, Live Streams, Prayer Times or Qibla Compass.
Step by step: viewing an event and responding
- Tap an event. You see the details, and possibly a poll, likes and comments.
- If the event asks for a response, you see Attendance Status with I'm attending, Maybe and Not attending. Tap your choice; you can change it later.
- Tap Add to Calendar to put it in your phone's calendar.
- A public event opens in the browser; further information or registration is there.
I can't see it / it doesn't work
- I see no response buttons. That event does not ask for a response.
- The Event Calendar tab is missing. The organisation does not use events.
Frequently asked questions
Can I buy a ticket in the app? Not in the calendar. A paid public event goes through the page that opens in the browser.
Do I get a reminder? Put the event in your own calendar with Add to Calendar.
