Your profile, username and password

In your profile you manage your own details and your security. Your name is shown, but you do not change it yourself: your organisation does that.

Where to find it

Tap your profile photo at the top, or go to Search → Account → My profile. The profile consists of sections you expand: App settings, Notifications, Phone number, Signature (teachers only), Email address, Manage Consents, Account Security, Sign-ins and devices, deleting your account, and App information.

Who can do this

Everyone with an account, for their own account.

Step by step: photo, phone and email

1. Tap your photo and choose Change photo (camera or gallery) or Remove photo.
2. Expand Phone number, enter the number and save.
3. Expand Email address and save your email address. If it is missing, you see Action Required! and a dot on your profile photo: without an email address you cannot reset your password by email.

Step by step: changing your username or password

1. Expand Account Security.
2. Change Username: choose a new name of 3 to 30 characters, without spaces, and save.
3. Change Password: enter your current password, then the new one twice, and save.
4. After a new password you are logged out on all your devices, including this one. Sign in again with the new password.
5. If you use biometric login, it only works again after you have signed in once with the new password and allowed it again.

Step by step: signature (teachers)

Teachers add their signature under Signature; it is used on certificates they create.

I can't see it / it doesn't work

• I cannot change my name. Correct; ask your organisation to change it.
• After changing my password I have to sign in again. That is intended: all sessions are ended, so nobody stays signed in with your old password.
• I no longer know my current password. Log out and use Forgot Password on the sign-in screen.

Can I change my username? Yes, through Account Security → Change Username. Then sign in with the new name.
