The Aqlemy app is your gateway to your organization on your phone: announcements, calendar, payments, homework, your member card and more. What you see depends on your role (student, parent, teacher or member) and on which features your organization has enabled. This article takes you from installing to your first sign-in.
Where to find it
Install the app from the App Store (iPhone/iPad) or the Google Play Store (Android). Search for Aqlemy and open the app after installing. The first screen (the startup screen) offers three choices: Sign in, New member (register) and Continue without signing in (browse).
Installing
- Open the App Store or Play Store on your device.
- Search for Aqlemy and tap Install.
- Open the app. You land on the startup screen.
- At the top of the startup screen you can already pick your language and light/dark theme — optional, but it makes signing in more comfortable.
Signing in — two ways
There are two entry points. Which one you use depends on how your account was created:
1. Standard sign-in (username + password)
This is the default for most users — parents, students and teachers almost always use this entry.
- On the startup screen, tap Sign in.
- Enter your username and password (received from your organization).
- Tap Sign in. The app automatically detects whether you have a staff/family or a member account and picks the right type.
2. Member sign-in (email address)
If you registered as a member, sign in with the email address and password you chose at registration. You can often just use the Sign in button — the app then tries both ways. If that fails, choose the member sign-in explicitly.
Choosing or linking your organization
- Signing in with an existing account? Your organization is already linked to your account — there's nothing to choose.
- Registering as a new member? Tap New member and pick your organization (or one of its parts/departments) in the organization selector. If you received an invitation or invite link, the right organization is selected for you automatically.
Fingerprint or face recognition (biometrics)
After a successful sign-in the app may ask whether you'd like to sign in with Face ID / fingerprint from now on. If you say yes, next time you sign in with a single tap — convenient and secure. This only works if your device supports biometrics and you've set them up.
Tips
- Remember which account type you have: a username usually means a parent/student/teacher account, an email address a member account.
- Enable biometrics if your device offers it — no need to type your password every time.
- Want to look around first? Choose Continue without signing in to view public information.
Frequently asked questions
I forgot my username or password. Tap Forgot password on the sign-in screen, or ask your organization to resend your credentials.
Do I have to choose my organization every time? No. After the first sign-in the app remembers your organization.
Can I sign in on several phones? Yes, you can stay signed in on multiple devices at once.
Troubleshooting
- Sign-in fails. Check that your username/email and password are exactly right (mind capitals) and that you have an internet connection.
- "Invalid credentials". Try the other entry (member sign-in vs. standard), or use Forgot password.
- I can't find my organization when registering. Your organization may not offer self-registration. Ask them to send an invitation or create an account for you.
- I don't see this feature. Many features depend on your role and on what your organization enabled. Are you signed in with the right account, in the right organization? The app then automatically shows what's available to you.
