Reading platform messages

Official messages from Aqlemy itself: release notes, announcements, maintenance notices and new features. This is where you read what's changing platform-wide.

Updated: June 25, 2026

Platform messages are official notices from Aqlemy itself — not from your own organization. Think of release notes, announcements, planned maintenance windows and new features. This keeps you informed about what's changing platform-wide and what it means for your organization.

Where to find it

Sidebar → Support → Platform messages. An important or urgent message often briefly appears as an alert in your notifications too.

Types of message

  • Release notes — what's new or improved in an update.
  • Announcements — general notices from the platform.
  • Maintenance — planned maintenance during which the portal may be briefly less available.
  • Feature updates — a new capability you can start using.

A message marked urgent stands out; important messages can be pinned to the top.

Step by step: reading a message

  1. Open Platform messages in the sidebar.
  2. Optionally filter by type via the tabs above the list.
  3. Click a message to see the full title, text and any image/video.
  4. Take the action it asks for (for example enabling a new feature, or allowing for a maintenance window).

Tips

  • Read maintenance notices in time, so you know when the portal might be briefly slow or unreachable.
  • Release notes often tell you exactly which new buttons or pages to expect.

Frequently asked questions

Who sends these messages? The Aqlemy platform team. They usually apply to all organizations, sometimes targeted at specific organizations or roles.

What's the difference with announcements? Announcements are made by you within your own organization (in-app + push + email to your members). Platform messages come from Aqlemy and are about the platform as a whole — you don't create those yourself.

Can I send a platform message myself? No. Only platform administrators compose platform messages; regular organization admins read them.

Troubleshooting

  • I don't see the Platform messages page. The platform messages feature (Platform releases) is off for your organization. Ask your lead administrator or the platform administrator to enable it.
  • I'm missing an announced message. Check you've selected the right type tab; an expired message may have disappeared automatically after its expiry date.
  • I want to reply to a platform message. You can't do that here — use a support ticket if you have a question about the content.
