Association budget — free Excel template

100% freeNo email requiredUpdated for 2026

In short

Why a separate budget next to the cashbook?

The cashbook shows what happened; the budget shows what you expect. The general meeting usually adopts a budget and sets the dues accordingly. The budget-vs-actual column shows during the year whether you are on track.

A budget shows what you expect for the coming year — the basis on which the general meeting sets the dues. This free Excel template is built for associations, not a repurposed freelancer budget.

Enter the budgeted amounts and track the actuals during the year; the template calculates the difference and totals automatically.
